The entire month of January, Montebello recognizes Human Trafficking Month.
Every year since 2010, the President of the United States has dedicated this month to raising awareness about the different forms of human trafficking, also known as modern slavery – referring to sex trafficking and compelled labor. This month and every month, we pay respect to the efforts of anti-trafficking organizations, state and local law enforcement, survivor advocates, and all engaged citizens in the community who promote this important cause.
