The entire month of November Montebello recognizes these important Issues:

Movember – This month the City of Montebello is recognizing men’s health in an effort to raise awareness for mental health, prostate, and testicular cancer. A growing number of men – around 10.8M globally – are facing life with a prostate cancer diagnosis. Globally, testicular cancer is the most common cancer among young men. And across the world, one man dies by suicide every minute of every day, with males accounting for 75% of all suicides. Join us as we raise awareness to save a father, brother, husband, son, and friend.

  • National Alzheimer's Awareness Month - The City is also proud to recognize National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. Worldwide, 50 million people are living with Alzheimer’s, the most common form of dementia. Alzheimer's is a progressive disease that causes problems with memory, thinking, and behavior. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or another dementia, you are not alone. To learn more about the 10 warning signs or get help visit Alzheimer’s Association.
