The Tree Division is responsible for maintaining the trees throughout the
City located in the parkways, street medians, parks and golf course. There
are an estimated total of 20,000 trees. The Tree Division has been
recognized by the National Arbor Day Foundation for the excellent
management of the City’s urban forest, and has been a recipient of the
Tree City U.S.A. award for the past 19 years.

Tree Trimming: To request trimming of trees located in the public
right-of-way, please call (323) 887-4613. Each request will be inspected
and scheduled accordingly.
Emergency Tree Service - Contact (323) 887-1313 to dispatch
non-life threatening emergency tree service such as broken limbs, in the
public right-of-way.
