The Street Division is responsible for maintaining the appearance and
infrastructure of 125 miles of dedicated streets and removal of graffiti
visible from the public right-of-way.

Please contact our office directly for assistance with the following:
· Flood Damages: All flood related damages of streets, catch basins and
sewers.
· Graffiti Abatement 24-Hotline: (323) 887-4500.
For removal from both
public and private property. The Hotline is checked throughout the day and
is scheduled 7 days a week. Most calls are handled within 72 hours.
· Sandbags:
Sandbags will be distributed on an emergency basis at
Corporate Yard, 311 S. Greenwood Avenue, Monday thru Thursday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. –
5:30 p.m. when heavy rains begin and to Montebello residents only.

Residents are responsible for filling their own sandbags.

Special assistance will be given to senior citizens that are unable to
pick up sandbags themselves.

Residents must show identification, at the front office before obtaining
sandbags.

No sandbags will be given on the weekends unless heavy rains or flooding
begin.

A maximum of ten (10) bags is issued per household.
If residents require additional sandbags, they may purchase their own
sandbags and
fill them at the Corporate Yard. Sand is free upon availability.
· Sidewalk Repair: Please report raised or sunken sidewalks, curbs and
gutters.
· Storm Drain & Catch Basin: Repair and maintenance.
· Street Repairs: Potholes, cracked sealing and curb repair.
· Street Sweeping:

complaints or contact Nationwide Environmental Services directly at (562)

· Street Signs: To report damaged, vandalized or weathered signs.
· Weed Abatement:
Please contact our office to report weeds and/or debris
along public right-of-way (i.e. alleys, curb & gutter, roadsides in
underdeveloped areas).
· Street Light Concerns:
