Montebello Bus Lines has partnered up with Downtown on Ice at Pershing Square this holiday season to bring you LA’s 14^th Annual Downtown on Ice outdoor skating rink.

As part of this year’s Bike to Work Day, MBL offered a free chance to win a Schwinn bike donated by Tony’s Schwinn Bike Shop.  The winner was Montebello resident Michael Forster who rides the bus everywhere.  He rides MBL Line 50 daily, transfers briefly and then rides a bike ten miles to work in the City of Long Beach.  Mr. Forster said the bus is clean, efficient and just as fast as driving in traffic.  He also enjoys riding MBL buses to the Shops at Montebello and to the mountains.

Angels Flight located in the heart of downtown offers the shortest train adjacent to the Grand Central Market. It is a historical landmark and offers a beautiful view of the city. Starting Monday, April 5, 2010 Montebello Bus Lines will sell transit tokens at a discounted price of $1.00 per token. The tokens are good for a one-way fare. An additional charge of $.20 for Express fare will apply.
