Due to road work at the Shops at Montebello there may be intermittent
detours on Line 20 and Line 70 beginning May 14 through May 24.
The following detours will be in effect only when necessary.

TEMPORARY BUS STOP CLOSURE
The parking lot at the Whittwood Mall will be under repairs and will be
closed to bus traffic. The Line 10 buses will be rerouted and will not be
able to service the bus stop inside the Whittwood Mall from May 14
through May 23, 2012. The following detour will be in effect:
Line 10 Eastbound
Last bus stop will be at:
Whittier Blvd and Santa Gertrudes Ave
Line 10 Westbound
First stop will be at:
Whittier Blvd and Santa Gertrudes Ave

LINE 40 WEEKEND SERVICE CHANGE
Effective: Sunday, February 12, 2012
Beginning Sunday, February 12, 2012, the Line 40 will have a new time schedule.
New time schedule for weekend service ONLY.
Weekday schedule in will not be affected.
Please ask a MBL Bus Operator for a new Line 40 public schedule.

Effective immediately, the Line 20 service, north and southbound, will resume regular
LINE 70 DETOUR
Due to the closure of the Paramount Bridge by the 60 Fwy., effective immediately
the following detour will be in effect until further notice:
Northbound
From eastbound 60 Freeway; exit on Paramount Blvd and continue straight onto
Town Center Dr
Temporary added service stop: near side Town Center Dr @ Montebello
Temporary out of service stops: Montebello Blvd @ Macy’s
Southbound
From the service stop on near side Town Center Dr @ Montebello Blvd; Left on
SanGabriel Blvd; Right onto westbound 60 Freeway to regular route
Temporary added service stops: near side Town Center Dr @ Montebello
Temporary out of service stops: Montebello @ JCPenney

Montebello Bus Lines will be operating on a regular weekday schedule on Monday,
December 26, 2011, and Monday, January 2, 2012, except Lines 341 & 342;
which will not be operating.

LINE 40 TEMPORARY SERVICE STOP CLOSURE IN DOWNTOWN LA
EFFECTIVE: 12/20/2011 TO 12/26/2011 FROM 10 A.M TO 7:00 P.M.
Due to the holiday traffic congestion in the Downtown Los Angeles area,
MBL will temporarily close two (2) service stops on the Line 40, Eastbound
only.
Affected Service Stops Eastbound:
4th Street @ Los Angeles Street
4th Street @ Wall Street
Please use the service stops on 4th Street @ Main Steet or at 4th Street @
San Pedro Street.

- Taylor Ranch parking lot at Montebello Blvd. & Lincoln Ave. in the City of
Montebello.
- Metro’s Gold Line parking structure at Atlantic Blvd. & Pomona Blvd. in East Los
Angeles.
Caution: Parking on private lots such as shopping centers is subject to owner’s
permission. In some cases, vehicles may be cited or towed.

LINE 50 SERVICE MODIFICATIONS - WEEKDAYS ONLY
Effective: Monday, August 15, 2011
A pilot program will be implemented to improve weekdays peak-hours
services by adding additional service trips into the regular schedule.
The following morning trips will be added:
Westbound:
5:30 a.m. from Washington/Greenwood to Beaudry/5th;
5:55 a.m. from Adelfa/Rosecrans to Beaudry/5th;
8:26 a.m. from Adelfa/Rosecrans to Washington/Greenwood.
Eastbound:
4:54 a.m. from Washington/Greenwood to Adelfa/Rosecrans;
6:21 a.m. from Beaudry/5th to Adelfa/Rosecrans;
7:58 a.m. from Beaudry/5th to Washington/Greenwood.
The following afternoon trips will be added:
Westbound:
1:02 p.m. from Washington/Greenwood to Beaudry/5th;
3:45 p.m. from Adelfa/Rosecrans to Beaudry/5th;
4:20 p.m. & 7:55 p.m. from Adelfa/Rosecrans to Washington/Greenwood.
