“Providing a Public Service, Supporting Our Police Officers, Making Our Community Safer” is the motto of the Montebello Police Department Citizens on Patrol. Highly trained volunteers provide superior police support services to the police department and its community. Citizens Patrol Officers provide additional eyes and ears to the police department in order to enhance police services.

Citizen patrol officers participate in the following activities:

Patrol Ride-along Vacation Watch Subpoena Service Traffic Control DUI / Safety Checkpoints Crime Watch National Night Out

Writing Reports Assist Records Bureau Assist Crime Prevention Guided Tours of Police Station Neighborhood Watch Assisting at Parades / Festivals

If you are looking for an exciting way to serve your community please consider joining the Montebello Citizen Patrol. We are looking for motivated individuals who are willing to share their time and expertise with helping the Police Department.

Eligibility Requirements

U.S. Citizen Good Moral Character 30 Years or older No Felony Convictions

Valid California Driver’s License Good Driving Record Valid Car Insurance
