CDBG Public Services Grant Application
On January 5, 1995, the Federal government established a requirement that all state and local governments must prepare a Five-Year Consolidated Planning Document (CPD) strategy, which includes an Action Plan for each program year designed to address the housing needs of extremely low-, low- and moderate-income households within the community.
The City of Montebello is beginning the second yearly Annual Action Plan (FY 2011-2012) to the City’s Five-Year CPD. As part of the approved Citizen Participation Plan, the public is invited to participate in this annual update. The information and citizen comments obtained at the public hearing will be used to establish the priorities, housing programs, social services, and the persons to be assisted with available federal (e.g., CDBG and HOME) funds.
If the City’s draft FY 2011-12 Annual Action Plan is approved by the City Council, the finalized document will be submitted to HUD for review no later than May 15, 2011, in order for the City of Montebello to receive its FY 2011-12 CDBG and HOME program allocation in a timely manner.
