Responsible for ensuring that the policies of the Council are carried out and the laws enforced. Coordinates the activities of the various City departments, prepares the budget, advises Council on needed programs, and prepares the council meetings agendas. Oversees the public information program, which is responsible for keeping Montebello residents informed about City affairs. In addition to preparing press releases and coordinating community events, a quarterly community newsletter called “Montebello Today” and internal employee newsletter called “Inside City Hall” are produced.
