Montebello Bus Lines
Montebello Bus Lines fixed route services can broadly be divided into
three types:
Major Local Services (Lines 10,
20, 40). These lines run
at high frequencies (every 15 minutes or better) over a long service
day, with service late into the evening and on weekends. They serve
major travel corridors with intensive demand: Whittier Boulevard,
Montebello Boulevard, and Beverly Boulevard. These routes constitute
over 70% of MBL’s service, and carry over 76% of its riders.
Minor Local Services (Lines 30,
50, 60,
70, LINK). These lines
generally run every 30 to 60 minutes to hourly, and tend to fill in
gaps between the major lines. They constitute a very small part of
MBL’s operations, and tend to be less productive than the major lines.
Peak Express Service (Lines 341,
342, 343). The
peak-hour, limited service operates two routes between downtown Los
Angeles and Montebello, and a third route extends east to Whittier.
Express service operates on weekdays only and generally run every 30
minutes during the peak commuting hours.

Line 10 - Atlantic Boulevard and Whittier Boulevard

Operates seven days a week.
Weekdays: Operates every 5-8 minutes. Operates every 10-20
minutes during early morning and late night service. Trips to and from
Whittwood Mall operate every 15-30 minutes with early morning and late
evening service every 15-40 minutes. Last bus departs from ELAC to
Pico Rivera at 12:28 AM and Whittwood Mall to Garfield Ave. at 12:45
AM.
Weekends: Operates every 15 minutes and every 30-40 minutes
during early morning and late evening service. Trips to Whittwood Mall
operate every 20 minutes; early morning and evening service operates
every 30-60 minutes. Last bus departs from ELAC to Whittwood Mall at
11:44 PM and from Whittwood Mall to Garfield Ave. at 12:42 AM.

Line 20 – Greenwood Avenue, Montebello Boulevard, and San
Gabriel Boulevard

Weekdays: Operates every 15 minutes. Trips to and from
Sierra Madre Villa Gold Line Station operate every 60 minutes. Last
bus departs Sierra Madre Villa Station to Telegraph & Gage at 10:11 PM
and from Telegraph Rd. to San Gabriel & Garvey at 9:30 PM.
Weekends: Operates every 15 minutes from Telegraph &
Gage in Montebello to San Gabriel & Garvey in Rosemead. Service to
Sierra Madre Villa Station will not be provided on the weekends. Last
bus departs from Telegraph Rd. to San Gabriel & Garvey at 9:30 PM and
from San Gabriel & Garvey to Telegraph Rd. at 10:05 PM.

Weekdays: Operates every 45 minutes. Late evening
service operates every 60 minutes. Last bus departs from Huntington
Dr. at 9:50 PM and from Firestone Blvd. at 10:45 PM.

late evening service operates every 60 minutes. Last bus departs from
Huntington Dr. at 9:50 PM and from Firestone Blvd. at 10:45 PM.

bus departs from Downtown LA at 10:13 PM, and westbound from Beverly
Hospital at 9:16 PM.
Weekends: Operates every 15 minutes from Beverly
Hospital to Downtown LA, and selected trips to and from Norwalk Blvd.

Downtown LA at 11:22 PM, and westbound from Beverly Hospital at 10:28
PM.
