William
M. Molinari -
Mayor Pro Tem
William Molinari moved to Montebello with his family in
1950. He is a product of Montebello schools and a graduate
of Fullerton Community College. From 1962 to 1965 he served
in the United States Army Corp of Engineers in Alaska. Upon
being discharged from the Army, he received his General
Contractor’s License and in 1982 assumed responsibility for
his father’s electrical contracting business.
He began his career in public office in April of 1982 when
he was elected to the office of City Council and served as a
member until 1987. He was again elected to the City Council
in November of 1989, 1993, 1997 and 2002. During this time,
he has held the seat as Mayor six times.
He is a member of the Kiwanis Club and the American Legion.
He has served on the YMCA Board of Directors, St. Benedicts
Parent Teacher Board of Directors, and the Parents’
Committee of Boy Scout Troop 476. In addition, he is the
founder and cornerstone for the creation of the Montebello
Community Gang Diversion Task Force whose focus is on
providing positive alternatives for at-risk youth in the
community.
He and his wife Antoinette are the proud parents of twins,
Monica and William, Jr.
