NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF MONTEBELLO
AMENDMENT TO THE City’s Schedule of Fees and Charges for its Various Services
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a PUBLIC HEARING will be held at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Montebello on August 8, 2018, at 6:30 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the Montebello City Hall, 1600 West Beverly Blvd., Montebello, CA 90640, to receive and consider all evidence, reports and comments presented at said hearing relative to the proposed adoption of an amendment to the City’s Schedule of Fees and Charges for its Various Services, for which users make a direct payment proportionate to the services rendered (Resolution 18-50A). The proposed amendment is to the Fire Department’s Emergency Medical Service Fee and Code Enforcement’s Temporary Banner Fees. Additionally, these and all User Fees can be amended on an annual basis via Cost of Living Adjustments per the City’s approved User Fee and Charges Recovery Policy.
All interested persons are notified to attend and express their opinions on these topics.
As required by Government Code section 66016, information concerning the estimated cost to the City for providing the service related to each fee, and the revenue sources anticipated to fund such services, is available for review in the City Clerk’s Office, located at 1600 W. Beverly Blvd., City of Montebello, CA 90640.
Communications to the City Council are public records and will become part of the City’s files and records. If you challenge the proposed actions in Court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Clerk or City Council at, or prior to, the public hearing.
